Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to define and drive reliability for critical applications within the Corporate & Investment Bank. You will lead a team of engineers, guide architecture decisions, and apply AI-assisted practices to accelerate incident response and post-incident analysis.

The role requires deep expertise in observability, CI/CD, and scalability across enterprise systems, with a focus on security and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Proven reliability, scalability, performance, security and enterprise-architecture skills.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to enhance SRE workflows with validation.

Responsibilities

• Models and champions SRE culture, documents knowledge for the team.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics.
• Drives collaboration to define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets with customers.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis.
• Acts as primary incident contact to quickly resolve issues and minimize loss.
• Provides mentorship and technical leadership across domains.
• Leads reuse of AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC practices.
