Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to shape the reliability strategy for mission-critical applications within Enterprise Technology. You will lead major incidents, drive post-incident learning, and mentor engineers across multiple domains including SD-WAN, SDN, and network security.

Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate triage, analysis, and remediation while upholding security and resilience standards.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering and 5+ years of experience
Proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, and enterprise system architecture
Fluent in Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net
Experience with AI-enabled reliability workflows and data sensitivity
Ability to evaluate AI-assisted operational recommendations for correctness and risk
Observability fundamentals: monitoring, SLIs/SLOs, telemetry

Responsibilities

Lead incidents and drive major incident response to minimize business impact
Champion SRE culture and disseminate knowledge via internal forums
Collaborate to define service level indicators and error budgets with stakeholders
Lead automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible for self-healing and remediation
Provide mentorship and technical leadership across SD-WAN/SDA/SDN, routing, security
Ensure governance of resiliency, readiness reviews, and change safety
