Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III to design and operate scalable, reliable systems.

You will work within Corporate Technology, Consumer & Community Banking Risk, applying code and cloud infrastructure to build resilient platforms and services at scale. You will guide teams, implement automated deployment and reliability solutions, and leverage enterprise AI to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Proficient in site reliability culture and principles and familiarity with how to implement SRE within an application or platform.
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, and .Net.
• Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support SRE workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to validate AI‑assisted operational recommendations before applying changes, escalating when uncertain and following data sensitivity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Guides and assists others in building level designs and consensus to promote SRE best practices.
• Collaborates to design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches using CI/CD pipelines.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis with proper data handling.
• Implements infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms in remit.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve problems and address issues using SLIs and SLOs before customer impact.
• Applies AI capabilities to identify patterns indicating reliability risk and prioritize SLO-related improvements.
• Familiar with availability, reliability, scalability, and solutions, improving outcomes iteratively.
• Identifies roadblocks and explores new technologies for business problems.
