The role emphasizes mentoring, on-call incident handling, and adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SRE, strong Python and IaC skills, and experience with AWS and Kubernetes in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in site reliability engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of reliability, scalability and performance of apps and infrastructure
• Proficient in Python and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Experience applying AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness
• Ability to evaluate AI-driven operational recommendations for safety and security

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability of AI/ML platforms.
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure performance and reliability of AI/ML systems.
• Develop observability, security, automation and FinOps tooling and orchestration.
• Set standards and architecture for reliability, observability, and automation frameworks.
• Build cross-functional relationships to deliver end-user solutions.
• Debug production issues, identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management workflows.
• Own problems, develop solutions, and mentor junior engineers.
• Leverage enterprise AI to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
• Promote reuse of AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC/toolchain with traceability and security controls.
