Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting. You will implement and operate OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenSearch/ELK to improve system visibility and reliability.

The role emphasizes scripting (Python, Bash) and CI/CD automation, building dashboards, centralized logging, incident response, and collaboration with engineering teams

Formación

• Minimum 3+ years in SRE/Platform engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on with OTEL, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenSearch/ELK.
• Experience building dashboards, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Docker, Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of GCP Cloud Monitoring and cloud-native observability tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, Agile/Scrum, and incident management processes.
• Strong debugging and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions.
• Build dashboards and configure alerts to monitor health of apps and infra.
• Implement centralized logging and distributed tracing.
• Use OpenTelemetry to improve system visibility.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.
• Support proactive monitoring and identify reliability issues.
• Integrate monitoring tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and conduct RCA.
