Releady is seeking a Consultant Site Reliability Engineer to instrument products for full observability, signal reliability issues early, and contribute to code fixes. This hands-on senior IC role involves pull requests, mentoring, and shaping reliability practices across the org.

The role emphasizes Google-style SRE, experience with Python/TypeScript/Node.js, and tooling like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, plus Terraform-based CI/CD and cloud infra (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP accepted).

Qualifications

Strong technical leadership for reliable production systems.
Experience in Python/TypeScript/Node.js to fix root causes in code.
Hands-on with observability tools and bringing best practices.
Terraform-based CI/CD and cloud infra, Azure preferred (AWS/GCP ok).

Responsibilities

Establish SRE framework, objectives, and error budgets replacing traditional ITIL habits.
Design rotation model for engineers into the SRE function as products launch.
Instrument first product for availability, throughput, latency, and quality using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
Identify root causes in code and deliver fixes via PRs; promote open-source tooling and self-healing ideas.
Lead incident response, drive post-incident learning, and shape roadmap toward automated investigation and remediation.
