Job summary

Releady, partnering with a leading healthcare technology company, seeks a Consultant Site Reliability Engineer to instrument products for full observability and drive reliability improvements across teams in a hybrid, United States–based role.

You will design the SRE framework, lead incident response, and contribute code through pull requests using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud CI/CD pipelines to support resilient services in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership for reliable production systems across multiple teams.
• Hands-on experience fixing root causes in application code.
• Familiarity with Terraform-based CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
• Ability to drive adoption of new standards through collaboration and contributions.

Responsibilities

• Establish the SRE framework, production standards, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets.
• Design the rotational model for engineers rotating into SRE and evolve it with new product launches.
• Lead full instrumentation of the first product using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Go into product code to identify root causes and deliver fixes via pull requests.
• Recommend observability and self-healing tooling, preferring open-source solutions.
