Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied experience in software engineering and reliability.
• Hands-on development in Python/Java/shell scripting for production systems.
• Experience operating distributed systems on Linux/Unix with cross-layer troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud and virtualization, APIs, scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and improve reliability for large-scale distributed services.
• Design automation to reduce manual work and improve recovery time.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-incident reviews with measurable fixes.
• Partner with development teams to enable safe releases and repeatable deployments.
• Implement self-healing patterns and capacity management for better availability.
• Build end-to-end observability (metrics/logs/traces) and alerting standards.
• Analyze incidents and usage patterns to anticipate reliability risks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain operating balance between delivery and support.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools with peer review and secure coding standards.
