Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III within Corporate Technology to strengthen the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems. You will contribute to end-to-end operations, design robust deployment strategies, and support automated workflows across cloud environments.

In this role you will implement observability practices, participate in CI/CD pipelines, and apply enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Proficiency in SRE culture and ability to implement SRE within an application or platform.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or PySpark.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations and adhere to data sensitivity requirements.
• Knowledge of observability, SLOs, and incident response in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide design and consensus on reliability best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy reliable pipelines and services.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications in scope.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve complex problems and improve service reliability and scalability.
