Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to administer all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server, including replication, backup/restore, and performance tuning. The role requires several years of SQL Server experience and familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V environments and cloud platforms.

The candidate will manage migrations, provide systems administration support, and ensure data security and reliability across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience related directly to SQL Server Database Administration.
• Experience with backup/restore, replication, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SDLC, source control, and bug tracking.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server including Replication, Backup/Restore, and Reporting Services.
• Migrate databases between SQL Server versions.
• Provide admin support for hardware/software installations and configurations.
• Monitor performance and tune SQL environments.
