Job summary

CGS is seeking a Discovery Database Administrator to join a fast-paced legal team in Dallas, TX. The role supports a variety of accounts and requires expert SQL Server administration, reporting, and maintenance across 2019/2022 environments.

You will manage security, design data models, optimize performance, and drive migration to cloud infrastructure while maintaining backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies for mission-critical data assets.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
• Ability to design schemas, reports, and maintenance jobs.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud migration.

Responsibilities

• Provide DBA support for SQL Server 2019/2022 and related tasks.
• Set up security, create tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Design SQL reports and maintenance jobs for performance and reliability.
• Maintain databases in a clustered server environment.
• Migrate systems into cloud infrastructure.
• Upgrade SQL Server versions and create SSRS reports.
• Setup a reporting server and handle DBA functions and report development.
