Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience directly related to SQL Server Database Administration.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Experience with VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with source/change control, bug tracking, SDLC, and relational databases integration.
• Experience implementing and maintaining data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Administering Microsoft SQL Server including Replication, Backup/Restore procedures, Capacity Planning, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services.
• Migrating databases from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2016.
• Providing database administration support including planning, testing, installations, and configurations of hardware and software.
• Recommending and implementing SQL performance monitoring and tuning.
• Implementing and supporting Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio Framework, VB.NET, ASP.NET and Web Services.
• Supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, creating and configuring virtual machines.
• Performing backups of the web, application, and database servers following policy; including daily incremental and full weekly backups.
• Performing database activities such as monitoring and space management; providing extended hours as needed.
