Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead the Hospice unit's AWS database modernization. You will drive SQL Server on EC2 migrations, upgrade paths, and cost optimization, while upgrading SSIS/SSRS and mentoring the existing Hospice DBA team.

You will establish cloud monitoring, automated backups, and DR processes, ensuring HITRUST/HIPAA compliance and coordinating with DevOps for Terraform-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of database administration experience.
• Deep Microsoft SQL Server expertise (2016+).
• Experience with AWS RDS and migrations, SSIS/SSRS.
• Strong backup/DR, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead SQL Server modernization on EC2 and migration to RDS.
• Upgrade SQL Server versions and test compatibility.
• Optimize ETL/ETL reporting on AWS or EC2.
• Establish cloud-native monitoring, backup, and DR processes.
• Mentor Hospice DBAs on AWS operations and best practices.
