Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead our Technology Platform team for the Hospice business unit. You will modernize SQL Server on EC2, migrate to AWS RDS, and optimize SSIS/SSRS workloads, while guiding the Hospice DBA team in cloud database operations.

Responsibilities include planning upgrades, cost optimization, and implementing monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch; ensuring HITRUST E1 compliance and collaborating with DevOps for infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of database administration experience.
• Expert in SQL Server 2016+ performance tuning and HA/DR.
• Hands-on upgrades from SQL Server 2016 and end-of-support migrations.
• Proficient with SSIS ETL and SSRS reporting.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute SQL Server modernization on EC2, including RDS migration and upgrades.
• Migrate SSIS ETL and SSRS reports to AWS-native or upgrade on EC2.
• Optimize cost by right-sizing, Reserved Instances, and storage tiers.
• Mentor Hospice SQL DBAs on AWS operations and best practices.
• Establish cloud-native monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch; implement backup/DR.
