Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or application development experience.
• Experience operating at a mid-level or Upper-level engineering capacity.
• Experience supporting HR, Payroll, HRIS, or enterprise business applications.
• Strong SQL and database development experience.
• Experience with systems integration and data exchange processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of data privacy, security, and confidentiality best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support HR and Payroll applications and related integrations
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and integration issues
• Support payroll processing systems, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance
• Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll data
• Participate in system testing, deployments, and production support activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer efforts
• Recommend process improvements and technical solutions to increase efficiency and reliability
