Job summary

TEKsystems partners with a Hawai‘i public sector client on a large-scale HCM transformation. A Senior Business Analyst bridges HR/business teams, leadership, and vendors to translate complex needs into actionable requirements.

This role leads requirements gathering, future-state workflow definition, and supports procurement/RFP activities for an enterprise HCM implementation in Honolulu with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in large-scale system implementations.
• Experience with HCM systems (Workday, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft) and procurement/ RFP processes.
• Excellent communication skills with executive-level stakeholders; strong documentation abilities.
• Background in government, public sector, or K-12 education environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and business process analysis for an enterprise HCM system implementation.
• Partner with HR, finance, and operational stakeholders to define current-state and future-state workflows.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, user stories, and documentation.
• Support RFP development and vendor selection processes by clearly articulating system and business requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and executive-level discussions, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Validate solutions through UAT coordination, gap analysis, and documentation review.
• Ensure compliance with government and/or education sector requirements and standards.
• Contribute to change management and user adoption efforts through documentation and communication.
