Qualifications

• Current licensure in Speech Therapy as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR (BLS) certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy or management; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships addressing each patient's needs during recovery.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and the speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

Education

CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence)

State licensure in Speech Therapy

Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy or related field

Master's or Doctorate degree preferred

CPR certification (BLS) either current or obtained within 30 days of hire
