Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel invites a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our team in delivering compassionate care for patients with speech and communication challenges.

You will mentor staff, support student programs, and supervise therapy assistants while leveraging advanced technologies in a collaborative rehabilitation setting. This role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence, and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Speech Therapy.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years of SLP experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships to aid recovery.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and our student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
