Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead a team and guide patients through speech and communication recovery within a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with multiple departments, supported by day-one benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and our speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
