Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead the speech therapy team, deliver patient-centered care, and guide recovery journeys with expert assessment and treatment plans. The role emphasizes mentorship, clinical excellence, and collaboration across departments.

You will work in a comprehensive rehabilitation setting, collaborating with staff to drive outcomes and participate in ongoing education and leadership initiatives.

Formación

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's or Doctorate preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships to aid recovery.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and our student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
