Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead a patient-focused team in a comprehensive rehabilitation setting.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, clinical mentoring, and coordinating speech therapy services within an established inpatient program. This position offers opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth in a nationally recognized rehab network.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in speech therapy or management. Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications.

Responsabilités

• Providing direct care to patients and building relationships to aid recovery.
• Assisting with speech language in-service education and student program.
• Mentoring and training new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegating and supervising speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
