Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications (Specialty Representative): Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Basic Qualifications (Senior Specialty Representative): Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Preferred Qualifications: Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
• Promote products and drive appropriate utilization
• Lead and conduct planned programs and medical educational activities
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including product access and reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans
• Support collaboration across teams to share best practices
• Maintain brand integrity and focus on patient service
