Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate the payer landscape. You will implement marketing strategies, engage customers through in-person and virtual programs, and drive territory growth.

The role requires relevant sales experience and a strong scientific understanding, with flexible work options including remote and hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Lead territory sales through branded messages, programs, and educational activities
• Develop relationships to manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative
• Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values
