Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products, and navigate the payer environment.

The role involves implementing marketing strategy, promoting products, and engaging both in-person and virtually to achieve sales goals, within a dedicated territory in the United States. Relocation is not offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications (Specialty Representative): Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Basic Qualifications (Senior Specialty Representative): Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen products to physicians to drive proper utilization.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages and coordinating programs.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and ensure product access.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn.
• Maintain passion for products and brand throughout the sales cycle.
