Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve as the primary contact for medical professionals in the Reno, Elk Grove, Roseville, Sparks, and Carson City territories. You will provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products and help navigates payer environments to optimize patient access.

The role involves delivering branded sales messages, conducting educational programs, and achieving territory sales targets under the guidance of the District Manager,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, or 4 years of Sales experience depending on education level.
• Senior: 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• Advanced product/clinical knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
• Promote Amgen products and implement marketing strategy within the district.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including access and reimbursement considerations.
• Communicate feedback on marketing strategy and contribute to territory planning with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and strengthen capability across the team.
