Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of efficient production systems on the Space Coast. You will optimize manufacturing processes, ensure stringent quality controls, and collaborate across disciplines to accelerate product timelines.

The role emphasizes DFMA, DFx, and process validation, with opportunities to advance manufacturing techniques and support cost reduction while upholding AS9100/ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering roles; 5+ years Level 3, 8+ years Sr if applicable.
• 1+ year experience creating English work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products across vehicle integration, test, mechanical systems, and subsystems.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate space vehicle fabrication.
