Blue Origin is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team at Space Coast, FL. You will lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, ensure high-quality production, and optimize the supply chain for space vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialization of new products in areas such as solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
• Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), design for test (DFT) key to building reliable vehicles for space exploration.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes that support Blue Origin's mission.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate building a road to space.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, tool designs, and inspection plans.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methods (e.g., composites, precision machining, additive manufacturing, advanced assembly).
• Support root cause analysis of process or product non-conformances; develop and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all work aligns with AS9100, ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Participate in process FMEAs and risk assessments and validate new production lines and equipment.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
