You will optimize supply chain logistics, contribute to DFx activities, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams to improve timelines and reduce costs.

The role emphasizes risk assessments, process validation, and adoption of advanced manufacturing methods, with a shift schedule and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Industrialization of new products in areas such as solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
• Design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), design for test (DFT) to build reliable space vehicles.
• Translate engineering requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain and production to accelerate space vehicle build.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing docs: work instructions, flow diagrams, tool designs, inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies (composites, precision machining, additive manufacturing, advanced assembly).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure alignment with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality and safety standards.
