Job summary
Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement efficient manufacturing systems and optimize supply chain logistics for Production/Operations at Space Coast, FL. This role collaborates across engineering, quality, and production to reduce costs and improve timelines.
The candidate will drive DFM/ DFA, develop work instructions, and ensure AS9100/ISO9001 compliance while advancing aerospace manufacturing techniques.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering.
- 3+ years experience creating English work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Support the industrialization of new products in solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
- Contribute to DFM, DFA, and DFT to build reliable space vehicles.
- Translate engineering requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate production.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and inspection plans.
