Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to act as the technical authority for design, development, analysis, integration, and verification of electrical systems for space and aerospace platforms.

You will lead electrical methodologies, architectures, and verification across product lifecycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance and reliability. Strong leadership, communication, and aerospace hardware experience are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or higher from an accredited university.
• Minimum 12 years of board-level electronics design, analysis, and test experience.
• Expert knowledge of electrical engineering principles, circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, power electronics, and power distribution.
• Experience developing methodologies, architectures, PCB designs, and hardware solutions for aerospace products.

Responsibilities

• Establish electrical engineering methodologies, architectures, interface standards, power distribution strategies, and circuit design approaches.
• Define design standards, analysis methods, PCB practices, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead complex electrical analyses, hardware integration, and qualification activities.
• Evaluate performance, simulations, test data, and system interactions to improve reliability and mission performance.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices across development programs.
