Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing ruggedized electronic components or high-performance, high-reliability hardware.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, testing, and debugging switching DC/DC power supplies, including component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
  • End-to-end product development experience for a space-rated component, from requirements definition through qualification and production release.
  • Demonstrated experience with board bring-up, manufacturing support, and initial hardware validation.
  • Experience designing hardware for radiation environments, including EEE parts selection and qualification for space applications.
  • Experience in digital design, including FPGAs, CMOS sensors, DDR memory, and supporting DC/DC converter design.
  • Hands-on PCB design experience using Altium Designer, including multi-laminate stack-ups, impedance-controlled nets, FPGA integration, and EMI/EMC mitigation strategies for flight hardware.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product development for a space rated component.
