Job summary

Brex, based in New York City, seeks a Senior Sourcer II to own sourcing strategy across multiple engineering teams. You will partner with Directors and VPs to define what great looks like before a search opens and shape talent mapping for key orgs.

You will coach hiring managers on ideal profiles, evolve the team's outreach, and mentor peers. This hybrid NYC role offers in-office collaboration plus remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience owning sourcing across multiple teams or an entire org.
• Experience partnering with Director- and VP-level stakeholders.
• Fluent with comp bands and candidate motivation to pre-qualify early.
• Have changed how a team sources (process/tool/pitch) and measurable impact.
• Mentored sourcers or recruiters and helped others grow.
• Deep market knowledge across engineering, data, product and AI.
• Proficient with modern sourcing/CRM tooling and data-driven direction.
• Bonus: experience building sourcing function or onboarding path from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy for multiple teams and the orgs behind them, partnering with Directors/VPs.
• Define talent mapping and market research and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Autonomously scope and land ambiguous projects, identify risks early.
• Evolve the team's pitch and engagement resources others adopt.
• Coach hiring managers on ideal profiles and add assessments/panelists when needed.
• Use reporting to diagnose hiring problems and drive changes.
• Define/modify interview processes to lift conversion and reduce time to fill.
• Mentor sourcers and enable others to mentor.
