Job summary

Brex is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer in Salt Lake City to identify and engage top engineering, data, and AI talent. This role will shape proactive sourcing strategies, build pipelines, and partner with recruiters and leaders to meet fast-growing hiring needs.

You will leverage advanced sourcing techniques, market insights, and a strong business acumen to attract diverse, world-class candidates while contributing to Brex’s employer branding and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing techniques, Boolean search, talent mapping, and market research.
• Strong understanding of technical skill sets, engineering org structures, and emerging technology trends.
• Proven ability to engage and convert passive candidates through thoughtful, personalized outreach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with technical leaders.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using sourcing metrics to refine strategy and improve results.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies for technical roles across engineering, data, product, AI, and other specialized functions.
• Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping to inform hiring strategies and pipeline development.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through creative outreach across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and other talent networks.
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align on candidate profiles, calibrate talent, and refine search strategies.
• Build and nurture long-term talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, including future-facing skill sets.
• Champion diversity sourcing initiatives to attract underrepresented technical talent.
• Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics to continuously optimize outreach effectiveness and pipeline health.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and activity tracking within recruiting systems and dashboards.
• Contribute to process improvements, sourcing best practices, and knowledge sharing within the recruiting team.
