Job summary

Brex is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to partner with recruiting and engineering leaders to build pipelines of world‑class talent across software, data, product, AI, and more. This role emphasizes proactive sourcing, market mapping, and diverse outreach in a fast-growing company with global reach.

Based in Vancouver with a hybrid in-office/remote setup, you’ll coordinate three in-office days weekly and may work remotely part of the time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Expertise in Boolean search, talent mapping, and market research.
• Strong understanding of technical skill sets, engineering org structures, and emerging technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies for technical roles across engineering, data, product, AI, and other specialized functions.
• Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping to inform hiring strategies and pipeline development.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through outreach across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and other talent networks.
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align on candidate profiles, calibrate talent, and refine search strategies.
• Build and nurture long-term talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, including future-facing skill sets.
• Champion diversity sourcing initiatives to attract underrepresented technical talent.
• Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics to optimize outreach effectiveness and pipeline health.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and activity tracking within recruiting systems and dashboards.
• Contribute to process improvements, sourcing best practices, and knowledge sharing within the recruiting team.
