Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Solutions Manager to join our server team. The Solutions Manager will operate from a high level, broad-scale perspective to create leveraged, outcome-based successes with vested customers.

The role focuses on single socket servers and how they can impact revenue and retention. The candidate will demonstrate products on site and in webinars, provide cloud/hybrid-cloud guidance, train staff and partners, and guide cross-functional teams in crafting data-center IT

Qualifications

BS in EE/CS with 8+ years in the server industry.
Strong understanding of server market trends and customer needs.
Excellent organization, planning and cross-functional collaboration.
Self-directed, initiative-driven and creative thinker.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate server solutions to customers on site and at events.
Provide cloud and hybrid-cloud expertise to influence decisions.
Deliver engaging solution training to internal teams, partners and customers; create PowerPoint slides.
Provide 3rd level customer support as needed.
Lead cross-functional teams to design data center IT proposals for RFI/RFP.
Identify market trends and share insights with product teams.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and reach audiences.
