Job summary

Sinch is seeking a senior Solutions Engineer in the US to drive complex customer opportunities with expert SIP/Telephony knowledge and API-driven solutions. You will lead technical engagements, craft scalable designs, and deliver tailored demos for enterprise prospects.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering, build trusted advisor relationships, and ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success for implementation. Remote role with hub-location collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Engineering.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive expertise in SIP/Telephony systems, APIs, AI voice/agentic solutioning, CPaaS, and integrating VoIP tech with enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and lead technical engagements.
• Proven experience in managing complex technical projects and leading technical strategy in sales engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong influence across stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to expert in SIP trunking for enterprise customers and programmable voice with APIs.
• Lead technical discovery and deal strategy for high-priority opportunities.
• Design scalable, integrated standard and custom solutions with Product and Engineering.
• Deliver high-impact demos and proofs-of-concept that show product value.
• Present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop deep, personalized customer relationships to advance business goals.
• Navigate and resolve complex client issues across departments.
• Create reusable solution patterns and internal tools to boost productivity.
• Provide product feedback and feature requests to Product teams.
• Deliver clear technical handoffs to Customer Success for implementation.
