Job summary

F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our sales organization in North America. The SE will blend sales and technical acumen to support customers and partners, delivering presentations, designs, and proofs of concepts across cloud, security, and application services.

The role requires strong knowledge of web servers, Linux/Unix, networking, and DevOps, with experience in financial services accounts. Base pay ranges from $163,400 to $245,000 annually, with potential incentives and RSUs

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in CS/EE/MIS or equivalent experience
Experience with F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp or similar
Knowledge of web servers and web applications
Skills in Linux/UNIX-based systems
Skills in networking technologies and internet security products/services
Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience in DevOps environments
Experience with enterprise customers in financial services space

Responsibilities

Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and value proposition to customers and align to business objectives
Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demos, and proofs of concepts
Determine opportunity viability and map out organizational structure
Drive the sales process with the Account Manager, identifying the Technical Decision Maker and securing technical validation and sponsorship
Deliver world-class customer service throughout the lifecycle
Support application acceleration including routing, web serving, and dynamic content caching
