Job summary

F5 is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to support the sales organization with deep technical and product knowledge of F5 solutions. The SE will engage customers and partners, deliver presentations, and design solutions across multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of sales engineering experience, familiarity with load-balancing, security, and DevOps, and can articulate business value alongside technical details in North America.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS/EE/MIS or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in sales engineering or related field.
• Experience with load-balancing technologies (F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp) and related networks.
• Experience with enterprise customers in financial services is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Articulate F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning to align with customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise via sales presentations, solution designs, and proofs of concept.
• Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and business drivers.
• Map opportunities and determine viability with technical validation and sponsorship.
• Drive the sales process in collaboration with Account Manager and Technical Decision Makers.
• Deliver world-class customer service through the entire lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices across opportunities.
