Job summary

F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer (SE) to support the sales team with deep technical skills across F5 solutions. The SE will work with customers and partners, delivering presentations, designs, and proofs of concept to drive adoption of F5 technologies.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in load-balancing, cloud, DevOps, and enterprise customers in financial services, with strong Linux/UNIX, networking, and security knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in CS, EE, MIS or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience required.
• Experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Knowledge of load-balancing technologies and related ecosystems.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with enterprise customers in financial services space.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning F5 solutions for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through presentations, designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
• Mentor and educate sales teams on value of F5 solutions and business drivers.
• Determine viability of opportunities and map organizational structure.
• Drive the sales process with Account Manager and obtain technical validation and sponsorship.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal resources and share best practices.
