Job summary

Grafana Labs is scaling its Solutions Engineering team in Japan. A Solutions Engineer will educate customers, deliver demos, enablement, and evaluations, acting as the bridge between customers and Product/Engineering.

Located in Tokyo, with 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience in Open Source or Metrics/Monitoring, you will collaborate with a global, remote-first team and thrive on solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience with open source tech or monitoring space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for global teams and customers.
• Ability to articulate value, ask diagnostic questions, and tailor solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana value to customers.
• Own technical engagements and help close complex opportunities.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to customers.
• Provide feedback on products and competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customers' needs and issues.
• Create enablement content and contribute to knowledge bases.
