Job summary

Omni is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead and grow our pre-sales SE team across North America. You’ll coach Solutions Engineers, partner with Sales leadership, and ensure best-in-class technical evaluation experiences for prospects.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll bridge field needs with Product and Engineering, own team metrics, and guide discovery, demos, and POCs to win complex enterprise deals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pre-sales experience in BI or analytics software.
• 2-3+ years of team leadership experience, including direct people management.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on familiarity with the modern data stack.
• Proven track record leading technical discovery, demos, and POCs with enterprise stakeholders.
• Experience coaching, hiring, and developing technical talent.
• Exceptional communication skills across technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
• Prior experience with BI/analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode, Sisense).
• High agency and comfort delivering results in growth-stage environments.

Responsibilities

• Hire, ramp, and coach a team of Solutions Engineers with regular feedback.
• Partner with Sales leadership to plan resourcing across the pipeline.
• Join key discovery calls, demos, and POCs to model best practices.
• Build and refine playbooks for discovery, demos, and POCs.
• Own team-level metrics and report performance to Sales and SE leadership.
• Synthesize field feedback for Product and Engineering roadmaps.
• Represent the SE team in executive-level customer conversations as needed.
