F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its sales organization. The SE will blend sales acumen with deep technical knowledge of F5 products and related ecosystems to support customers and partners across North America.

You will articulate the product strategy, deliver presentations and demonstrations, and mentor sales teams while driving opportunities to closure. Compensation includes a base salary with potential incentives, reflecting market conditions.

Qualificações

• BS/BA degree in CS, EE, MIS or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer
• Experience in traffic management and load-balancing technologies (F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp, etc.)
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, and web applications
• Knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, WebSocket, SPDY/HTTP2, SSL, SMTP, POP, DNS)
• Linux/UNIX skills
• Networking and internet security products/services
• Microservices architecture and tools (K8s, Docker)
• API development/management

Responsabilidades

• Articulate the F5 product strategy and position solutions to customer objectives
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demos, and proof of concepts
• Mentor and educate sales teams on value of F5 solutions
• Determine viability of opportunities and map organizational structure
• Drive the sales process with Account Manager by identifying the Technical Decision Maker
• Provide world-class customer service throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal resources and share best practices
