F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with deep technical expertise on F5 solutions and the broader ecosystem. The SE will present technical value, design solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and guide customers through Proofs of Concept—in virtual or in-person formats.

The role partners with Account Managers to identify technical decision makers and secure sponsorship, driving opportunities from discovery to close.

• BS/BA degree in a relevant field (CS, EE, MIS) or equivalent experience
• Experience as a Sales Engineer
• Experience in traffic management and load-balancing technologies (F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp)
• Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, and web applications
• Knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, WebSocket, SPDY/HTTP2, SSL, SMTP, DNS)
• Skills in Linux/UNIX-based systems
• Networking and Internet security products/services
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Microservices tech (K8s, Docker)
• API development/management
• DevOps experience
• Experience with enterprise customers in financial services
• 5+ years of experience is required

Responsabilités

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning for customer objectives
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations and solution demos
• Mentor and educate sales teams on value of F5 solutions
• Determine viability of opportunities and map organizational structure
• Drive the sales process with Account Manager including Technical Decision Maker
• Provide world-class customer service throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal resources and share best practices as needed
