Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our team. This customer- and partner-facing sales and technical role supports the sales organization with deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions and the ecosystem.

The SE will collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to meet targets, develop customised product presentations, and deliver world-class pre- to post-sales support. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, along with a proactive consultative

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in Cloud, Security, Application Delivery, Network Infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS environments.
• Strong presentation, communication, and pre‑sales account management skills.
• Significant experience in pre‑sales or Systems Engineering roles.
• Experience with F5 core products or relevant competitor solutions.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Czech or Slovak.

Responsibilities

• Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations of the Code or other company policies.
• Provide complex design and systems engineering configurations.
• Partner with Product Development and Product Management to support Change Request (CR) and Customer Special Request (CSR) cases.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of F5 solutions and the broader industry.
• Utilise F5 sales strategy and solution messaging to align solutions with customer business objectives.
• Develop and deliver presentations for customers and partners.
• Clearly articulate the technical components of the F5 value proposition.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and share insights with the CAT team.
• Deliver world-class customer service across pre‑sales, implementation, and post‑sales activities.
• Lead strategic, organisation‑wide initiatives.
• Develop a well‑defined subject matter expert (SME) focus in at least one technology area.
