Job summary

The Solutions Engineer (SE) at F5 is a sales‑and‑technical role focused on customers and partners. You will apply deep knowledge of F5 solutions to translate technical challenges into business value and support the sales team to win opportunities.

You will deliver presentations, designs, demos and proofs of concepts, mentor sales colleagues, and work with Account Managers to identify decision makers and close deals across North America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience is required.
• BS/BA degree in CS, EE, MIS or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Sales Engineer and knowledge of F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp.

Responsibilities

• Articulate F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concepts via multiple mediums.
• Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and business drivers.
• Determine viability of opportunities and map out organizational structure.
• Drive the sales process with the Account Manager, identifying the Technical Decision Maker and obtaining technical validation and sponsorship.
• Consistently provide world-class customer service through the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices and leverage expertise as needed.
