Job summary

F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our sales-focused technical team. You will translate customer business needs into effective architectures, lead solution demonstrations, and collaborate with the Account Manager to secure technical validation and sponsorship.

You’ll travel 20-30% and mentor junior engineers while partnering with product, engineering, and marketing to align offerings with market demand. This is a high-autonomy, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with F5 or similar deployment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging, and value for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through presentations, solutions, demos, and POCs.
• Map out opportunity structure and identify key stakeholders.
• Drive the sales process with the Account Manager and technical sponsors.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices.
• Serve as a technical expert for F5 Distributed Cloud solutions.
• Design secure, cloud-native applications and networking services.
• Lead complex sales cycles and coordinate with product and engineering teams.
• Mentor junior sales engineers and share expertise.
