Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions.

You will design and present solutions, demonstrations, and proofs of concept, collaborating with sales to drive opportunities across large North American service providers. You will mentor teams, map organizational structures, and ensure customer success through the lifecycle while leveraging cloud skills (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps practices, and modern application

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in a relevant field (CS, EE, MIS) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a solutions engineering role.
Experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies (F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp).
Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, and web applications; TCP/IP, WebSocket, SPDY/HTTP2, SSL, SMTP, DNS.

Responsibilities

Articulate F5’s product strategy, messaging and value to customers.
Provide technical expertise through presentations, designs, demos, and PoCs.
Mentor sales teams on F5 solutions and business drivers.
Identify the Technical Decision Maker and secure technical validation and sponsorship.
Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager.
