Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions and related ecosystems.

The role focuses on large North American service providers, offering solution design, demonstrations and POC work. You will work closely with customers to translate technical capabilities into business value, mentor teams, and drive opportunities with the Technical Decision Makers while collaborating with internal resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a Sales Engineer or equivalent in technology sales.
• Deep understanding of F5, Citrix, Riverbed or related load-balancing tech.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, web servers, APIs and protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices (K8s, Docker).
• Ability to articulate business value and technical benefits to customers.

Responsibilities

• Articulate F5 product strategy and value to customer objectives.
• Deliver technical demonstrations, solution designs and POCs.
• Mentor sales teams on value of F5 solutions.
• Identify decision makers and map out sponsors in customer orgs.
• Drive sales process in partnership with Account Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle.
