Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for US Enterprise West. You will work with the sales team as the technical lead, delivering compelling product demonstrations and tailored demonstrations of Okta’s Identity Platform across multiple West Coast markets.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and executives to translate customer needs into secure, scalable cloud-based solutions while contributing to quarterly sales goals and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering or solutions-architect experience.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to act as the technical and domain expert for customers.
• Deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to align solutions with customer needs.
• Answer technical questions from customers, partners, and Okta colleagues.
• Plan and deliver POCs for complex use cases with multiple teams.
• Provide product feedback to drive enhancements and value.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with the team.
• Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
• Support marketing events and executive briefings.
