Job summary

Okta in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Corporate/New Business) to drive technical demonstrations and articulate the value of Okta’s Identity Platform during sales cycles.

You will bring 5+ years in IAM pre-sales, strong knowledge of OAuth/OIDC/SAML, RBAC, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). The role requires excellent communication and regional travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in IAM.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML).
• Experience with lifecycle management, RBAC, and provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for Corporate/New Business sales to articulate Okta's value.
• Analyze customer challenges and demo solutions to fit needs.
• Respond to product and tech questions from customers and partners.
• Plan and deliver PoCs for complex use cases with cross-team collaboration.
• Provide feedback for product enhancements based on customer needs.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with peers.
• Maintain up-to-date on competitors and differentiation.
• Support marketing events and executive briefings.
• Occasionally lead as SME on product solutions and competitive knowledge.
